Motivation:
Cornerstone class: design a laser cut box for Redboard with all pins and ports accessible when board is in the box
Approach:
Created an interlocking design requiring no glue for assembly
Results:
Redboard screwed in and box was held together by friction
Lid also fit on with friction

Motivation:
Interested in gears and wanted some visuals
Approach:
AutoCAD-ed simple gears with circular teeth
Calculated ratios to make planetary gears, considering the number of teeth, the diameter of the teeth, and the circumference of the gear
Results:
Laser cut the pieces and created a working (not very smooth) modelÂ
